when i had this problem what i did was install the ink then switch off printer
leave off for a few mins then switch back on
or it could be that another ink needs changing

Canon PIXMA-MP460.2nd time refill ink,1st time fine this time,ink carts not recognised.any1 help please,C T?
Did you buy genuine canon cartridges this time, or did you buy cheaper compatible ones. If the latter, send them back for a refund and buy original. Some cartridges have a chip in them and they may have omitted to reset it or some such problem.
