How do u know when u need to refill your ink?

My printer tells me, and if it did'nt u cud tell cause when printing it's all screwed up not solid printing.How do u know when u need to refill your ink?
Most printers come with a utility that will tell you the approximate ink levels in the cartridges. If it isn't already set up to do that automatically, you'll have to go to the manual that came with the printer (whether printed or in a computer file), or go to the company's website for instructions.

You could try this (for an HP printer, but it might work for yours): Go to Start, Control Panel, Printers %26amp; Faxes (right-click for its menu). In the drop-down menu, click Properties, select the General tab, then the Printing Preferences button. If it's there, click on the Service this Device button, then select the Estimated Ink Levels tab. I hope that works for you.How do u know when u need to refill your ink?
The printer should give you a warning message. plus you can tell by looking at fade-outs on your printed pages.
Are you serious?

When the pages your printing dont look like they should look, its time for new ink.

Most new printers will tell you when you need new ink though. They'll give you a warning saying that the ink cartridges are low.
a notice will come up ';your printer is low on ink';

or else when you print the words or picture will come up with lots of white lines through it.
when u print the computer will tell u the ink level in u'r computer
A warning message should pop up with an exclamation point above the one with the least ink
