I renewed the ink on my printer with a refill kit from asda and now the prints are rubbish?

i have an hp s5280 all in one printer. i have refilled the ink cartridges myself with a kit from asda. the black works great but when i changed the colour one and ran a test page the printer said alignment failed. now every Time i print it comes out all red in colour. i went over the instructions time and time again and i did refill the cartridge properly. whats going on?I renewed the ink on my printer with a refill kit from asda and now the prints are rubbish?
Simply adding ink doesn't make a cartridge work.

If you have a cartridge which was older or dry, or not printing well in the first place simply adding ink will not solve the issue.

Run a print head cleaning and get a diagnostic page. If all three bars are red you need to replace the cartridge you have cross contamination, however f only one bar is red, and there are two absent you have a blocked nozzle. Keep cleaning.

The alignment is failing becuase you need all of your inks working to correctly align a cartridge.I renewed the ink on my printer with a refill kit from asda and now the prints are rubbish?
You get what you pay for or put another way, buy cheap - buy twice.

May I suggest Ink and Stuff for excellent branded cartridges, excellent prices and excellent service. They have a website so you can order online. They even give a loyalty discount.
Well i use ASDA ink and have had no problens with it black and colour are both fine. Must be something you are doing wrong. I have HP as well 2 of them.
The answer is in your question - I draw your attention to the words ';Asda'; and ';refill'; : both, not very good ideas and a complete load of rubbish.
I have always found the refill kits are rubbish, now I only use the correct refills for my canon printer
yes it depends on makes of printer. I find the canons ok at school for refilling or using compatibles, but HP often don`t like this treatment and leak or just die!
