Problem using refill ink cartridges?

I installed a refilled colour ink cartridge in my Lexmark P4350 all-in-one , however the ink cartrigde indicator does not show full , but remains on empty. Any solution to this problem would be appreciated? When replacing with a new cartridge everything is fine.Problem using refill ink cartridges?
the newer lexmarks will do that. did you try to print anyway?

if it prints, you're good. if not, return the cartridge.

the thing you'll need to be aware of is that it will always show empty once it's refilled. you will need to watch your printing for signs it is getting low again (streaks, weird colours, light colours).Problem using refill ink cartridges?
Epson printer cartridges have a micro-chip in side of them.

It keeps track of how much ink is used, like a counter that just counts, but not really knowing the true level of ink inside. You need to find out if Lexmark is doing the same thing.
Most Lexmark cartridges have a little chip in them which keeps track of how much has been printed. It shouldn't matter insofar as the cartridge will still print, you'll just have to keep an eye on your print quality. If your printer refuses to work, though, you'll have to get hold of a chip resetter.

PS These cartridges eventually get sludged-up as some c rap is left in the bottom each time one runs out. You might find it better in the end to get some generic refilled cartridges, I've used PrinterInks.com many times without problems.
If the ink cartridge has a micro chip in it then you need a chip re-setter.
The microchip needs to be reset. Google for your particular cart. %26amp; scan for reset inquiries and answers, I have seen it for the HP chipsets.
When you refill a cartridge, you do not reset the level sensor. Sometimes there is a way to reset the cartridge. If the ink is being delivered properly, this is just a nuisance.
