How do i refill an empty CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System)?

I can get the ink into the reservoir tank but i cant get the ink to go down the tubes from the tank to the cartridges. Any ideas?How do i refill an empty CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System)?
It really depends upon what system you are using as well as what ink.





I use canon s520 (with a homemade system - mostly aquarium tubing) and clover inks.





that the reservoirs first need to be above the printer and a good section of hose vertical to allow gravity to do some of the pumping for you.





It also helps to slightly angle the reservoirs.





As an odd little quirk some will not work with full reservoirs. when filling the reservoir pour very stloly to allow the ink to flow into the tubes.How do i refill an empty CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System)?
