No refilled ink cartriges are not harmful for your computer at all. I have used refilled cartridges several times and my printer is fine.
-Little.LeafIs refill ink is harmful for my printer?
not unless you pour it all over itIs refill ink is harmful for my printer?
That highly depends upon what kind of printer you have as well as the quality of the refill ink.
If you have an HP lexmark or Dell the answer is always no (providing the cartridge is not leaking) For epson Brother and Canon the answer is sometimes.
Normally refill ink works fine. However the colors will not be quite as vivid...........
Where a printer has ink tanks, and refill ink is required to flow through a printhead mounted in the printer, the answer is possibly. Bad ink can do damage that is not easily fixed.
Cartridges that have a printhead affixed to the cartridge and are refilled (even with bad ink) can't harm your printer.
ANY leaking cartridge in ANY type of printer can do damage, so if you are dealing with a refill service, make sure they are reputable. If you are doing it yourself, follow directions carefully.
refill inks are not harmful to your printer. manufacturers say they are to make you buy their products which are very expensive. try these links: http://www.mebelectronics.co.uk/index.asp?function=DISPLAYPRODUCT%26amp;productid=279
