If the refill kit is for your ink cartridge they will work......but they are a little messy the key is to not overfill them.
Take your time when you drill the holes in the empty cartridge so the plugs work properly.Does anyone know if those ink jet refill kits actually work?
Not with Lexmark, Dell, or some HP inks. I know some people that have them to work with Cannon ink, but as far as I know unless you have an older Cannon, Epson, or really old HP printer they don't actually work.
I used refills with the X73 and it worked well. I used the syringe method after drilling a hole. I think you would get 3-4 refills from each cartridge before replacing with a genuine one because the printheads would get clogged. And you can do the refills again.
But you will find that by drilling holes it removes the vacuum inside the cartridge and it would leak inside the printer when it is sitting idle. But this doesn't affect your printing.
I think it saves up to half the cost of printing.
Problem with refilling a Lexmark cartridge is that they dry up really quickly. They need to be refilled before they are empty to get the best results.
There are some kits that work, and some that don't. I have used Dataproducts kits before with decent success, but I do not let the cartridge run out.
I haave had two Canon ink jet printers and the cartridges have a computer code on them. Once the printer recognizes the cartridge is out of ink, it has to be changed. I tried the refill kit once but, the printer had already determined that that cartridge was empty by the computer code. It would not take the same cartridge even though it was full of ink. I had to buy another cartridge which had a different computer code on it and it worked just fine.
I have had one laser printer and things do not work that way. When you run out of ink, you just replace the ink cannister. The problem is that they are very expensive by comparison to ink jet cartridges.
they are working but through time ink gets stack and ... well you know if you can afford it the buy new ones

The best way to find out is to try it. I haven't had any luck with them. Sorry to pop your bubble. You go cheap, you get cheap!
I have an HP and I use refills all the time.
Yes they do!
But be careful not to overdo it, refill the ink jet cartridge only two times, not third time as it will create problem,
make sure that there is not durt, or anything blocking the tips.
