How do you refill ink cartridges?

I found out that I am running out of ink in three of my ink cartridges and the cost of them normally run about $10-$12 a pop.





How much do re-inking kits cost at places like Staples and Office Depot and how do I re-ink my Canon i900D cartridges?How do you refill ink cartridges?
Its not worth it, they are a pain and seldom work right afterwards. Just buy new/How do you refill ink cartridges?
Unfortunately I've never refill a Canon cartridge before





But any compatible refilling set should comes with the instruction





My set certainly have instructions for canon cartridges too, most of it is fairly simple, just inject the ink into the hole leading to where the inks are stored





There is some kind of soft sponge inside that holds the ink, so insert the metal tip into the sponge about halfway through, but not until the bottom or you may damage the cartridge.





Press the injection tool to inject the ink into the sponge, there is a bar on it that shows how much ink you've put in.





Don't go beyond 7ml. Most cartridge holds 5 to 7ml only
Agree, try to refill at Walgreen's - $14 is a very good price, about half the usual; should be good for three refills. The kits usually come with skintight gloves; if not, pick up some rubber gloves at the dollar store.





Recommendation: If using print to share info, e-mail instead.
I have tried it 3 different times and gave up. It is so messy and the results are lousy.





This is the price we pay for the low price on printers: paying outrageous prices for minuscule amounts of ink.





I switched to a B%26amp;W laser printer. One cartridge will print 2 or 3 reams of paper. (1500 sheets)
You can go to Wal-Greens and they'll refill them for you. I think it's around 3 to 5 dollars.
The Refillable kit are used with needles and they go to the top hole. Walgreen's Photo Department- $14.
...also, some printers keep a tally on the cartridge of the copies produced - Cartridge will shut down.
they had a deal at walgreens some free ink cartridge refill event thing couple years ago lol. just buy a new one don't do it yourself u will f up your printer!!!!!!!
