I refill the ink in my Canon printer but it still says ink is low.?

I bought a refill kit at the drug store and refilled my Canon MP470. When I try to print it doesn't come out well and the printer still says ink is low. I tried all the cleaing optoins on the printer and it still isnt workig properly. Please help me!I refill the ink in my Canon printer but it still says ink is low.?

The reason your print quality is bad is because with refill kits you do not clean out the cartridge. There is still old dry ink inside as well as the ink they gave you probably is a universal ink. This ink is not specifically designed for you printer. The reason your printer says the ink is low is because you have not replaced the chip in the cartridge either.





Your best bet is to buy a remanufactured cartridge that has been cleaned and rechipped. Your printer still may not recognize it, but the print quality will be a lot better. Just be careful that you buy a good quality remanufactured or genuine canon cartridges.

You should just buy a new cartridge. Refilling always leads to problems with ink cartidges and could potentially harm the printer.
